Now taking bookings for the 2011/2012 academic year, the 604 bed village spread across seven buildings will offer students in every year of study a quality alternative to private rented housing or halls of residence.
A wide range of living options are available including spacious studios and flat shares for up to six people – ideal for students who want to live with friends or independently. Post graduates also have the option of living in a specially designated block.
Each flat features stylish en-suite rooms with Wi-Fi access and bright, spacious kitchen / lounge areas. And to create the ultimate student environment, residents will have access to a Hub which houses a Skype Video Booth, games station, TV and study area. Social facilities continue outdoors with BBQ facilities and outdoor games.
CCTV and 24 hour security also operate throughout the Village.
Located on London Road in the centre of Reading, Kendrick Student Village is a short walk from the train station, city centre and Whiteknights Campus. It is also on the main uni bus route and a convenient one minute walk from the London Road campus. The Kendrick Student Village show flat is located at UNITE’s Crown House property, just two minutes down the road. It is open for viewing seven days a week; Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-6pm and Sundays 11am-5pm.
